Children’s Chapel
Children’s Chapel takes place the first Sunday of the month. Children begin in worship, then process to their classroom for a scripture lesson and experiential learning. They then rejoin their parents in worship for Holy Eucharist. This time allows an age-specific learning that dovetails with the intergenerational worship of St. Andrew’s.
FUNday School
FUNday School is a once-a-month Sunday offering for families with young children to gather and explore stories of love, hope, and faith. Features include music, stories, games, crafts, and sharing. FUNday school currently takes place the third Sunday of the month at 10:15 am, following the 9:00 am service, as Adult Forum meets.
Youth
Teens from St. Andrew’s and the surrounding community meet at least monthly to serve, learn, and have fun. It is an inclusive group that welcomes and accepts all youth, including those from other traditions or none. Service learning includes activities like assisting at the Thanksgiving meal at Church of the Guardian Angel in Baltimore or the Martin Luther King Jr. day of service. St. Andrew’s has a rich history of service trips, connection to Diocesan activities, and participation at Camp Claggett.
All leaders of children & youth ministries are required to and have had safe church training.
