Pastoral Care

Pastoral care at St. Andrew’s reflects and extends the compassionate love of Jesus Christ. The clergy meets with the Pastoral Care Team and together provide care to members of the congregation. The clergy attend to crisis situations, acute needs, and provide pastoral counseling as appropriate. The Pastoral Care Team is comprised of six trained and licensed Lay Eucharistic Visitors. As teams of two, they do visitations in homes and facilities, praying with people, supporting them, and bringing newsletters and bulletins to those they visit. Holy Communion is brought to those who desire it. Cards of care and encouragement are sent to both parishioners and other family members. The community of St. Andrew’s recognizes that people of all ages need pastoral support at various times in their lives and strives to be a community of healing and care.
