Give

Walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself for us, an offering and sacrifice to God.  Ephesians 5:2

Giving for ministry at St. Andrew’s is about being grateful, responsible stewards of the gifts we receive from God.

Every day, we receive messages telling us that we don’t have enough or should want more. This creates an attitude of scarcity within us. God gives to us abundantly in blessings great and small. By recognizing that we have more than enough and caring for others with generous hearts, we live with hearts of gratitude, find deeper meaning in all we do, and make a positive impact in our world.

The tradition of giving back to God and to the church comes from the Biblical practice of “tithing” as recorded in scripture. Tithing means to give back a tenth of our earnings to God, which the Episcopal Church encourages. We also understand stewardship broadly, as the giving of our time and energy for ministry, and offering our skills in a variety of ways to further the mission of Jesus Christ.

Tax-deductible financial contributions to St. Andrew’s support ministries locally, regionally, and internationally.
