Sunday worship is a version of the Easter Celebration; it is a celebration of the Resurrection. Every time we come together on Sunday, no matter the season of the year, we give thanks to God for the new life given to us in Jesus’ resurrection.
As people of faith, we are called to worship God. When we gather to worship, we are strengthened and renewed for the week ahead. Worship includes hearing sacred text read aloud from the Hebrew Scriptures and New Testament, sharing prayer requests and thanksgivings, and feasting at the table in Holy Eucharist.
