Lent 2023

What is Lent? In the western church the forty days of Lent extend from Ash Wednesday through Holy Saturday, omitting Sundays. The last three days of Lent are the sacred Triduum of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday.

Spend Lent at St. Andrews with these special services:

Palm Sunday – Sunday, April 2
8 a.m. service at Union Chapel (no music)
9 a.m. service at St. Andrew’s featuring a FUNday style worship with music for all generations. Daisy the Donkey will lead the procession!

Maundy Thursday – Thursday, April 6
12 p.m. (noon) service at St. Paul’s, Poplar Springs (no music)
7 p.m. service at Union Chapel (with music)

Good Friday – Friday, April 7
12 p.m. (noon) service at St. Paul’s, Poplar Springs (no music)
7 p.m. service at Union Chapel (with music)
