Saturday, November 20, from 1 pm to 3 pm
Gleaning the fields at Sharp Farm, 4003 Jennings Chapel Road, Brookeville. Let me know if you need a ride to the farm. We’ll be collecting leftover field crops for the local food bank, so be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and dirt fields! This event qualifies for community service hours and is sure to be fun. If the weather is poor we will be working in the greenhouses.
Tuesday, November 30th, after school
Keep an eye out for an email from Melinda Norbeck about decorating the wreaths we are selling to raise money for El Hogar, Guardian Angel, and Appalachia. We’ll take all hands, experience is not required.
Friday, December 3rd, after school
Baking and Building! We will be baking about 1 million muffins for the St. Nick breakfast, so we need all hands on deck. Keep an eye out for an email from John Alden with the times and ingredients needed. Those who aren’t up to cooking will be helping to set up tables and prepping for St. Nick’s. Dinner will be provided
Saturday, December 4th from 8:30 am to 11:30 am
Come early to finalize the preparations, stay to greet the kids and serve at the stations, and help put everything away once people are gone. This is going to be a ton of fun and qualifies for community service hours.
As always, reach out if you have questions, to let me know you’re coming, or if you need pastoral support. I’m here for you!
